Post by jp2005 »

Right now I'm sitting at the mall waiting for my lady to get done shopping. Whoever thought of this day should be poured in oil. I'm so bored guys haha who else went shopping today? And I've been up since 5:30 on my day off :( the things we do for the ones we love!

I usually 'volunteer' to stay home with the kids while she goes out shopping, just because I'm such a nice guy thinking only of her and how much easier it'll be for her to not have them slowing things down. ;)

Ditto, I saw the ads as we printed them, nothing for me out there today. Even Sears isn't having very good sales.

Got up at 5:00 am, started a fire in the fireplace, got on putter, listened to George Strait for about 30 minutes on Youtube.

Washed windows, refilled radiator, checked engine, auto trans, power steering, master cylinder fluid levels in Forrest Bump... all FULL, except Gas Tanks... both empty.. sigh.

Didn't EVEN think bout goin' out shopping (nearest mall is 25 miles away).

Awww... the life of a bachelor with a Bump :D

If I WAS goin out to shop, I'd get Forrest the tires he so desperately needs, kinda like a woman with her shoes.

I bought myself coffee in the morning and lunch in the afternoon. I'm still sitting here at work clearing out some junk, getting paid two times for today, once for the company holiday and again for the work I'm doing, I also just got into time and a half so that ain't bad.

Had to drive the bump in though, that'll eat some of today's profits in fuel ;) (although I did get great mileage out of my last tank, 9.2!)

We didn't go shopping, there isn't really anything we need and I can't stand to shop on a normal day.

A friend of ours said that people were fighting over video games and going to jail at 1:00am.

Back when I worked at the dealer we were on a loop road around the mall, at that time the mall was one of the newer ones in the area and we all drew straws for who ventured out to get lunch on black friday...

I spoke to soon. Yesterday around 1000, Vicki talked me into driving the 50 miles to Best Buy. :( Wanted a bedroom TV to replace the old 27". The thinking was the Black Fri. sale would be over and there would be less people. Wrong, it was shoulder to shoulder. Waited in the checkout, line that was very long, for over 45 min. At least we got a 32" LCD Samsung for $339. Hung it high on the bedroom wall when we got home. :hd: What I'll do for the woman that put up with me for over 34 years. (anything) :D I will say the Best Buy was very well stocked on all their sale items. So we got to get out of the house and take a nice drive, :drive: what the heck.

The whole fiasco with the walmart/Sams club Guy who got stampeded to death. I heard walmart waited a few hours to contact 911. And then refused to help the police find the people who did it.

And this year all the rumors of this store or that wit hthe $3 52" Tvs but only three per store. :bs: on all of that. And the people willing to mame to get suesy a new betsy wetsy? Or thew people who take your cart or move the check out line devider to include your stuff in thier purchases or grab stuff out your hands.

i don't like shopping when people are mostly behaved, but when they are worse than children forget it man. I'll Pay full price or snipe it on ebay.
