I too send my prayers your way. It is a terrible thing that hopefully our children won't have to deal with by the time they get our age. Agreed with Robert, any chance of getting a 2nd opinion from another doctor?

Oh my God John, I'm so sorry to hear about the big "C" in yours and your Bride's life.
As others have posted here, I'm talkin' with the Big Guy RIGHT NOW for his help and guidance for both of you.
Keeping a positive outlook is so VERY Important at this time for your Bride and yourself and that's also what I'm going to ask God to give you.
I'm in my sixties too, so I understand that she's way too young for all of this to be happening now... I believe that you've both got a lot of years left together.
As both of you are fellow Ford folks, we are all family here and now's the time to reach out to your family for the help you both deserve!
God Bless You and Vickie!

Sorry to hear this and I too have for you and your wife. I have been cancer free now for 10+ years so it can and does happen. I heard a thing the other night that doctors gave Carol Shelby something like 5 years to live back in 1960 and he is still with us at 87 years old. My point is the doctors PRACTICE medicine because they don't have it perfected yet. Keep the faith and don't give up. We all will be praying for you both.
John and Vickie,
Our prayers are with you both and your family. May God send you all his Peace and Comfort. May He Bless you with his Wisdom and Grace. We pray that the Lord Jesus would totally cleanse Vickie from all diseace and may it bring Him Praise on High when he does.
I have a very close friend who has battled cancer since her mid thirties, first breast than a totally different strain, ovarian cancer. Her positive attitude has been increadible and a inspiration, she is now 53 and still goes skiing once a week during the winter. She has lived with more laughter, love and happiness those 20 years than most people do in 50.May God Bless You All,
Ed
P.S. We will pray especially for you this coming Monday night at our men's group

All the best to both of you. My Niece is a RN specializing in Oncology. She's seen quite a few patients walk out, that weren't supposed to. Well, OK, they have to wheel you to the door, but you know what I mean.
She firmly believes that while science can't prove it, a positive upbeat attitude must have something to do with this.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, as you drive through this challenge.
P.S. Sheesh John, you really had me scared with that title. I thought you were playing high stakes poker again...

Sorry to hear about your wife. You're doing your best and that's all you can do. It's amazing the advances they've made in treatment so there's always hope.
