Age Group, What are ya?

Post by Hemmi06 »

I was just curious because of a post about off color comments what people's ages were. I know some people like jokes but some may take it too far (I am guilty). Maybe if we kinda had an idea whom we were talking to it would help make better judgments? :fr: This kinda fits into, I would not talk to my mother the way I talk to friends at work. She would beat me down!!!

Age has something to do with it? Suppose it is possible. They say wisdom comes with age.
Now that you mention it I do find cuss words offensive, more so than I used to. The worse word I ever used around my Mom is darn.
Do you know what the worst thing about getting old is? :hmm:

So what is 70 plus-----Holy Crap I'm still alive :?

i turn 18 in less than 2 months. Honestly, I have never once read anything on here that offended me. The users on here are pretty respectful of the boundaries. This is a family ford site. Not a chevy or mopar site.(which everytime i get surprised at what they are willing to type. ) The moderators here do a good job of editing out inappropriate things. but It is our responsiblity as users of this great site to keep it clean ourselves. :fr:

I am 23, the first truck I drove by myself when I was 17 was a 1972 Ford F-250 Sport Custom Camper Special. That was also the first truck I ever turned a wrech on, replaced a starter when I was 13 or so, and now I am a Ford Factory Certified Mechanic.
Honestly, I really would rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy.

2001 F-250, Extra Cab, 4x4, 7.3 Direct Injected Turbo Diesel, Edge Programmer, Flowmaster 4" Turbo back Exhaust, 3" Leveling Kit with 33" Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs, and has 250,000 miles and counting.

Im 28 & I got my truck for my 13th birthday.

Over the last couple of months I've had alot of younger guys, 15,16,17 yr. olds hitting me up on youtube about these trucks. They are getting more & more popular with the younger folks best I can gather.

My good buddy who is 95 and 3/4 (yep every month counts past 90), says:
"You've got to keep moving, because you're a long time still". :D
He says a lot of other things too, but that's one of the few that are decent enough to publish.
Heck, when your 95 and 3/4, it's pretty good to be coherent enough to carry on a conversation, whether it's publish-able or not. :D
