You must have dropped off hard. When you see that makes you thankfull it wasn't worse. Like I said before, glad neither of you got hurt bad.

that's a wreck alright--guess that why the dakota's have such a poor crash test rating--looks like the box is still good to go--those ute boxes weigh up pretty good by themselves

been a lotta people crash a lotta cars on those ks gravel roads

glad u escaped with minor injuries


the co roads in nw ks are banked like a race track & that's how we drove them--pitch'er hard and steer with the throttle--that was 40 yr ago and it still makes me smile

i go tthe truck started and drove it today. i also found its replacement. for 200.00 i got lucky too. it i sa beter truck all around. i will post pictures of it asap. edit. the replacemnt truck has ford wheel covers on it. they look very similar if not the exact same as the explorer wheel covers. too bad they aren't in perfect shape. someone removed the ford centers from them.

Sorry to hear about the wreck fordman. Glad both you and your wife came out of the wreck pretty much unharmed. Also happy to hear that you found a replacement/donor for the Dakota :thup:.

Definitely glad to hear you and the misses are OK, if slightly banged up.
Also glad to hear you got a replacement for such a great deal.
Things happening this close to winter is pretty tough!
Way to overcome what could have ben a tragedy! :clap:

actually it wasnt that bad. i hooked my first figner and thumb near the button and was able to twist it kind of so it pulled the button towards the button hole. plus i pushed the button side into my stomach to help hold the button side while i pulled the button hole over to the button. i actually cut wood today and it wasnt that bad. until now. it is making my hand ache a little.

here are the pictures of it. there isnt much to see of it. i only took pictures of the bed for a craigslist ad. and it wont start of course. i think the rats may have taken care of that for me.
