December 7th

Post by BobbyFord »

Today is December 7th. We all know the significance of this date.
Christmas is just around the corner, I found this video on youtube. Perhaps this holiday season we could stop for a moment and remember those who cannot be and possibly never will be with their loved ones at Christmas time.
Let's include them in our holiday prayers.

Goggle didn't even change their homepage to reflect it. They do it for most other occasions... strange.

A incredible sacrifice was paid 69 years ago today, with many many more to come. To all those who served our country, may we say ... THANK YOU!!! It is because of you that we get to enjoy playing with our trucks. It is because of you, that we get to pursue our dreams. It is because of you that we get to sleep at night.

Another opportunity to thank a Veteran for the freedoms we all have today. May God grant each and everyone His Peace and Understanding. May we all take a moment to remember and pray for those who paid the ultimate price and those still paying for our freedom.

Thanks BobbyFord

God Bless & Merry Christmas,
Ed

Never forget Peal Harbor, it is a shame that a lot of younger people do not know what this day is about. I sincerely thank all my fellow vets.

It's easy to think "Man, I wish I didn't have to spend all day with my family this holiday" but take into account all those who won't even have the option to do so. Makes you think a little. God Bless Our Troops.

I was with a buddy of mine this weekend who is a WW-II vet, and served in some pretty bad spots in the Pacific.
He made the point that while time has made the losses of combat brothers easier to deal with, he will never forgive Japan for those losses. I could see the blood boil as he spoke. For him it was as fresh as yesterday. He's one of the easiest going guys I know. A solid citizen, and good Christian family man. I wish the average American could understand the significance of this.
I watch as they re-write history to make things more "politically correct", and I am deeply saddened.
There is an importance of being blunt and honest with society, when it comes to attrocities. And those lessons should not be swept aside.
