Re: Depressed..............WHERE ARE THE FORD MEN?
I'll never forget the '68 Rcode 4speed fast back Mustang that I saw on Ebay with a smallblock chevy under all that beautiful Ford sheet metal
, sure turned my stomach. Just once I'd like to see it the other way around.
Maybe an old SS chevyII with a Ford 9" rear, a Toploader 4speed and a really radical 351Cleveland?
I wonder how the bowtie boys would react to that.

I agree. This matter bugs me. I looked at a 69 fastback mustang with a 350 turbo 350 combo one time. Told the guy that shot the deal when i figured it out. He was clever. Hid that ol 350 under lots of edelbrock! Still stood out like a sore thumb that the distributor was in back!! Ruined a nice ol car.

What Bobby said. My dear ol' Granny can throw parts off the porch and build a decent orange small block. It takes knowledge (and $$$) to build the same motor if its blue.

I dsaw that, that was pretty cool. Makes me think about building a 1966 Chevelle SS351C Hey, at least its canted valve like the SS396.
1969 F100. All factory 360, 4-speed, candy apple red one owner. Incredible truck!
