How do you Fordificate?

on library computers until i can get another laptop. on days off work so i do not fall asleep in front of the computer and get told to leave. embarrassing. . things are looking up. christmas i might get myself a present, ya know. kinda thinking ipod touch really. does flash and wifi and has a touch keyboard. dunno. thinkin about it... opinions?

I'm kicking it "old school", on a 486 with an old 101 key, keyboard.

Now this I like! I can remember being really excited about my 486DX4-133 based computer, which was an enormous upgrade from anything I'd used before. I plugged all the parts together in my photography dark-room (based on the pantry) and can still remember how exciting it was to watch it boot, and the great smell it made when the boards warmed up for the first time.

the last time i checked none of the apple mobile products ran flash

Atari 800XL but I'm thinking about upgrading to a 386/25 or a Phenom II X6 @ 3.3GHz with 16Gigs of DDR3, but dang that little Eee dual core dual GPU 10" netbook that only weighs 2.8Lbs and runs all day on a full battery sure is tempting... Cordless and wireless Fordifacating........

Definitely getting iPod touch. This loaner iPod has been awesome. I am a convert. Was a pc guy since about 15. Apple has a winner here. No flash but it does what I need.
