the ultimate revenge!

Post by HayHauler »

Hey guys I wanted to share these with you. I don't remember where I found these but, I've always wanted to have a chevelle with a Ford in it. I want to shake this man's hand. I bet he makes a lot of friends.

I always thought they were Fordolets...? Well it IS sweet revenge for all the Great Old Fords runnin' Chebbies. My Daughter & I sat in traffic next to a '32 Ford Roadster with an All Metal Body and Yup... you guessed it... a little block bowtie between those frame rails.

She asked "Daddy, why are you so upset lookin' at that nice old car?" 20 minutes later after splain' to her how I felt, she said "OK... NOW I get it"

I bet you would have liked my 73 VW microbus with the chevy 307, GM auto tranny and
ford 4:11 rear end I once drove back in the late 70's. Cross breeding?
That van could have been in Deliverance.. Chortle..
To this day I kick myself for not ever getting any pictures of that..
That van was a blast. You could sit in a parking lot and floor it, no brakes, and
spin around in circles until you let the gas off. :) On a quick launch it would do
a 2nd gear scratch if you shifted manually. It looked kind of like a Space Shuttle
with no wings, as it sat up in the back, and the nose sat down fairly low.

I really like those. I'd love to take those cars to shows. Tell lookers "They were built by Chevy's super high performance division in the 60's and 70's. Too much power for most GM owners so they decided not to go into production."
