keeping busy

Post by Mancar1 »

I'm getting ready to go 4 doors down to Mom's and hang up her outside lights. Then back here to do ours. Kinda a late start, but hey ya just gotta keep the cheer going. :hd: Put our tree up for Vicki, ( A whole lot she wants to do, she just isn't able right now.), She must have what seems like 100's of orniments. :hmm: Or it just seems that way.
Pulling the load for both of us really makes me appreciate how much she does. :hmm: She has put up with me for over 35 years. I'd do anything for her. We are having a very satisfying and happy life together. We wish the same happiness for all of you.

Good for you. :)

I take care of my Great Aunt, she's 98.
And now my Mom's health is not, err, good. So I am helping her too.
Don't even get me started on my Girl Friend and our combined pets.
My shower wall fell down, my Bump, my race car, sold the boat, . . . . . . life goes on.

OMG, I completely forgot to take care of myself.

I hear you. I have learned to take care of myself, so that I can take the best care of my loved ones.

Great point!
Oh how important that is!
Taking time to keep our own battery charged is critical, not only for ourselves, but for the peace of mind of those we care for.
I would always take some time to do something cool for myself. Then when I came back, I'd have a big smile and a fun story to share. Which got me a big smile and a great story in return.
