I'm at that age where my back goes out more than I do.
I hit the big five O this past July and the AARP is becoming a PITA with all the stuff they send me.

Ditto on the back issues but my chiropracter makes it bearable. I really don't mind going to see her at all. Smart, hot, about 20 years younger than me and unfortunately for me, married.

Here's a little ditty for the 50+ age group in our survey.

57 now, 58 in March.

According to the poll, I'm not quite as old as dirt. :woohoo:

Problem is, my 27-year-old thinks I'm on the committee that named it... :D

I worked at an Exxon station when I was a teenager. I was there when Esso became Exxon. Regular gas was $0.33/gallon, and Esso (Exxon) Extra was $0.37. If the regular went up to 35 cents, and the Gulf station across the street didn't raise their price too, we couldn't BUY a customer!!!
Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools talk because they have to say something.--Plato
Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

That's not an oil leak :nono: That's SWEAT from all that HORSEPOWER!!

i dunno anymore. for the most part. my elders are wise. sometimes old ideas hide best in old minds. now, bear in mind that an old idea is not necessarily bad. neither is an old idea necessarily good. for my vote, i am willing to bet that somebody nearly twice my age can kick my a$% on life knowledge anyday. Mancar... from my first day here you and Fordman were helpful and kind. my sincere prayers to you both. as to the younger-than-i-am... if you think the old are clueless, go ahead and forge on alone, dumba#%es.
