OT: Anyone watching the lunar eclipse tonight?

Post by mlheppl »

Just curious if anyone was going to check out the total lunar eclipse tonight. I'm working graveyard and it looks like the skies will be clear enough for good visibility, so I'll be checking it out.

wow that looks cool. i took a picture of it. but it didnt turn out right. the moon has a redish glow in the center of it right now and a slight edge of the white moon is still showing.

Non-stop rain. Suppose to have thunderstorms tomorrow night. Last time I can remember T-Storms here was 45 years ago.

Now you know where the term "under a blood red moon" comes from. Only happens during a full eclipse.

And no I didn't get to see it. too dang cloudy. :(
