Frightening to see how mothers and families in general are portrayed on TV nowadays compared to when leave it to beaver was running.

I grew up in the 50's and loved watching that show. Like all things, our memories remember the good things and forget the bad, now a-days ain't so bad in comparison.

I sure remember the 50's, streets in this tiny town where gravel. Creek accross the street, Deer, Pheasant, ect in the front yard at O-Dark thirty. Came back, bought a place 4 doors from Mom and Dad, to allow me to help out as needed. Dad is gone now, Mom still lives in the same home I was born and raised in. Everything is the same only different, If ya know what I mean. Love life in the here and now, but treasure my memories.
