New CB Handle Suggestions?

How about "Bumptrucker" or "Bumpfreak"? That is if you are looking for a bump related handle. I saw that the hunting truck is a Chevy so, "BowHunter" would fit. Bow for Bowtie and Hunter for well hunter. "Mudslinger" might work as well.

oh man cb radio i've put sooo much money into my radio and set up but when i first started using a cb i put in the old 70 i didnt have a handle but all the old guys i talked with gave me my handle "fordtruck" since i would sit out in my truck and talk with them all day i was gonna go by rubber duck since thats my favirote movie but "fordtruck" stuck and now that most of those old guys have passed on i just have the heart to change my handle now. all this talk about cb's makes me want to fire my old one back up.

Mines the same as my user-name. Got it when I was a drilling foreman. Boss said I was the wildcard of the company since I was licensed for, and able to any job he asked me to do.

Used it when I was driving OTR also.
I've been thinking about putting mine back in my truck along with the 8-track tape player. Just can't figure out where to put them with the under dash gauges already there.

Mine when I was a kid, I was K-Kid, I had a 72 K-5 Blazer and it just fit... I had a CB in my 88 ford when I first joined the military, I used "Running Red" the truck was Red, and that hopped up 5.0 ran like no other... Since than I have been without a CB. I want to install one in my 250 with dual whips!

Both of those Bump handles sound pretty sweet, going w/ a bump related handle would be fine as I plan on putting a CB in the bump somewhere down the road as well. "Bow-Hunter" is pretty creative, "Mudslinger" always works as well as that seems to be one thing the Chebbys good at .

I was wondering the meaning behind your user-name as well! Originally I thought it might have had something to do with your truck but wasn't sure . You should hook it back up in the truck! Since you have under-dash gauges you might try mounting it through the dash-speaker grille if you don't have a dash-pad. Or if you don't have a head-liner you could mount it from the cab brace there pretty easily I would think. If not there's always the transmission hump.

Thanks for all of the suggestions guys keep them coming, it's pretty neat hearing all of your handles too. I wouldn't have guessed this many guys here had CBs .

I haul golf carts for a local family owned company.We recently went to a truck larger than a one ton to haul our 53' cart trailer. Due to the weight class and hauling into the surrounding states we went with apportioned tags, fuel permits and the whole nine yards. I started running a "CB" to break the monotony at times. I get tired of arguing with the GPS and singing to myself on some of the long trips. Being the only driver in transportation dept with a CDL(as of this posting my truck is the only one that meets this criteria) I get all the long trips. I decided to keep it golf related and came up with "Long Drive". Oh and the same note my truck # is Tee-14.

In the truck I've got a Cobra 29 NW ST WX that's been tweaked and tuned up just about as far as it can go safely with an Aires A-2024 power mic with roger beep and echo and all that goes through some really heavy duty coax into a monkey made dual coil antenna but its gonna be switched out soon for my old 102" antenna because thats the antenna my radio was turned with and is the olny one it'll really reach out and talk on. Last time I used the ol CB I talked about 35mi barefoot witch was really impressive for a mobile....and I've just about got all the parts together for my base witch is a Uniden PRO640e with upper/lower side bands,a 500 watt linear some more heavy coax and I don't know what antenna yet

, Nice set-up. Yea I'd go back with the 102" Whip too I can get out there pretty well with mine and I still haven't gotten it tuned yet. Sounds like a sick base set-up you've got planned as well .

That's a long list of ideas! You've got some excellent suggestions as well, I think it's about time for me to choose a handle just using Casey over the radio's no fun . I will be sure to let you guys know what I decide on hopefully I will reach a decision soon, still can't believe how hard it is for me to choose a Handle.

Okay I'm stuck between a few of them now.
Bumpside, Bumptruck (took bumptrucker and changed it to bumptruck, it seems a bit more catchy to me), and 10-8 Bump (Took 10-4 bump and turned it into 10-8 bump, 10-8 means back in service/in service so back in service bump).
