well i messed up my internet connection

so i was making some changes to my router setting and knocked out my internet for almost 3 hours. what a nightmare but after going through resetting all of them finally got it back up and running

we all have been there i would imagine. i learned to keep a written copy of my settings from similar snafu kinda things. :hmm:

yeah the sad part about this is i do tech support for my job and it took me 3 hours is the sad part about it should have only take me 30 minutes at the most

my router allows for saving settings to your computer, but yeah i've been there many times haha

My favorite button on a consumer router is the Reset button.

I've had to do the "hard reset" a few times. Sets it back to factory defaults and then I had to set-up my port assignments again, again, again.
