We run doubles in PA also but they use shorter trailers. I disremember the length at the minute. I've only pulled doubles a couple times for short distances. Not bad to drive........except on really windy days.

What state allows triples? Is it Indiana? I was out that way about 20 years ago. The wind really messes with those! The last trailer always seemed to be flapping in the breeze.
UPS runs doubles in and out of Manhattan in the night time. That is kinda crazy if you ask me.

Indiana, Oregon, Utah, Ohio and several other states allow triples under certain conditions. I've towed a disabled tractor and a set of doubles in PA but only for a few miles. In PA a towed vehicle is not considered a trailer by law.

Idaho allows triples also... you can even do doubles without a CDL towing your camp trailer with a boat (or another trailer) behind it.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~
