Besides the wife's CRV, I have three "cars", my 71 Wagoneer, 68 Cougar XR7, and my 67 bump. I was born in 1972, so all the better rides are pretty much my age or older.

My truck is a 1972 and i was born in '85 so it has a fourteen year lead on me, somehow though it seems we were meant to be together......Cheesy right?? haha

So far, everything I've owned is older than me. (by years, oldest to newest, not order of accuisition. sp?)

1988 jeep comanche.

And i was born in 1991. My girlfirend, who is 8 days younger than me, has had an 02 escape, 04 kia sorento, and now a 2010 scion TC.

already posted a couple times but I wanted to be sure of something. now, if my truck door panel says 1971 is that really the year she was actually made? I heard from several people that june of the previous year was commonly the actual build time. I am a 1971 model; june in fact. Is my truck actually a 71 like me or did it get marked as a 71 when it in reality rolled off the line in june 1970? either my truck is a few days older than me or she is a year and a few days older than me.

Mine is a ´71 model also, but the sticker on the door says August 1970. Also you can find out in which month and assembly plant etc. your truck was made with your VIN.

The last six digits of your VIN are the consecutive unit numbers. According to this your truck was built in July 1971. But you say it was built in June? Where do you know that from?

read again. nowhere did i attest to absolute knowledge. i said i had heard june was a common month of manufacture. i did not claim to know.

According to my build sheet from Ford, my 71 was "produced on 10/07/1970".
