Where did you get your rims from? Were they fair on price? I've been working on the same swap, I went with 4.10 gears and a 5.0 cobra motor injected with an aod. I was going to run chrome deep dish bullit rims on the rear, but they didn't have enough backspacing. Very nice build.

The wheels are Raceline Wheels billet forged wheels, made in the USA. Look on their special buys section for the deals.

I have been looking at the CV swaps, and I am wondering low far from the ground is your frame right now?

Also how much lower do you think you can lower the truck by springs alone? Or dod you believe you already reached that point.

I should be getting a bump side in the next few months, and the CV swap with mustang 17's will be my first mod. Also I wanna be really low, and I think the 17's will be a bit easier for my goals.

its low enough that I cant get my full size jack under the CV crossmember, its possible to go lower but more involved. You could Z-cut the frame another inch or two, biggest hurdle are the trailing arms although I had some ideas on how to do that, maybe later but I like the stance so far

Looks just right to me :D If you ever get a chance could you post the distance from the center of the spindle (wheel center cap) to the bottom of the fender lip? Sure would appreciate it.

Thanks JG.

In the pics it looks higher then what it probily is in real life.

I too have thought about z'ing the frame, but I would z it 2-3 inches. Then leave the rest of the CV spring stock to have a decent ride height, and if I ever have money I can put on some air ride and lay frame.

@JG F100

Nice work, I look to do the same look on my '70 F100 short bed custom I got for $100.00

Question, do you know if there is an option to use a frame from a 80 to 90 inline 6 f150 to just drop the f100 body on without a lot of drama?

Don't get me wrong. I'd don't your way if I had the welding skills you have...

I doubt it, but anything is possible assuming the wheelbase is the same.

@JG F100

Thanks for the reply. I think the best way to is the way you went. Is there a reason you didn't go with the Cobra/Mark 8 IRS?
I'm see some good prices on the MARK 8 IRS, but it is more work to intsall from what I'm looking. I'm still doing the pros and cons...

I want to see pics of this truck next to a stocker, even if it's a Walmart parking lot shot. I really like the stance.

Good job so far,

Simplicity, i can swap in a solid rear-end without much thought and for the long run it should work well if I start going to the drag strip.
