Beautiful truck! I love what they did with the center console.
I have to wonder how the top end speed is with the C-6 and 4.10 gears though? :hmm:

That is one great truck! And they kept it FORD powered! Dash looks great original too. Well, mostly original. I like the wood grain insert. Not overdone.

Depends on overall tire diameter and how tight the engine can be wound. I haven't run the numbers in a while, but with 275/60's I think I'm looking at a top speed of 125 or so at 6500RPM. This is coming from memory, but I think it's close.

Some things on that truck I like, some I'm not so fond of. But, to each his own, and it is clean. Lot's of time and money. Well, lots of just money for most folks. Didn't read to see if the owner did any of the work.

Aint' too many of us here that have the money to build a 6500 RPM motor that will hold together!

... and if the Owner didn't do all the work, it wouldn't be as Nice?

Most of us who have to pay for a lot of the work, do all the design, (I know I did, including the dumb stuff that had to be re-done - Light Silver Carpet? OMG I wish someone had said that's dumb, go with Maroon), buy the parts, and we work pretty darn hard to earn the money to pay the body shop and machine shop to realize our dreams. I've been a Gear Head since mid 1950's when I wa 10-11 yrs old, and I lost track of the amount of times I've changed starters and rebuilt Carbs and many other things at side of the road or in a driveway, done valve jobs myself (I Mean the whole thing; re-using valves and lapping them with valve grinding compound), and struggled for many years to keep something running that was my only transportation, so if in my later years I can manage to earn (working on commission) the kind of money it takes to build something special - working with a few hand picked professionals and doing what I can (I block sanded a lot on my truck when it was being prepped), forgive me if I don't think it's somehow something less special because I don't have the expertise to do all the work myself.

And without people like me the shops would have to suck insurance company you know what or go broke.

Just got my cage rattled a bit. It's a common question at shows and such. Along with Gee how much did you spend on it ?

I like everything about it. Especially the fact that he stuck with an FE. It's almost as if someone who had a solid '68 swb and an unlimited bank account, scratched their head and said, :hmm: WWCSD (what would Carrol Shelby do  )
