Thanks, cool video. But I'm with rjewkes on this one for the chebby rear-end.
Looking at the video the ratio aint' even the same on the front and rear, (front wheels are spinning faster than the rear).

When I was mud-bogging I was told that the pro-class boggers would run a higher ratio in the front. I used to hate following people with 44's :hw:
When they were done my little 38's couldn't touch what they did!

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

yea runnin a lower gear in the front in the sloppy stuff helps you pull while the rears are pushing so it so its twice the efficiency. just have to make sure you disenage the 4wd on hard ground, or you can kiss you t-case goodbuy

i had to go to the library to watch it since i have dialup and it wouldnt load all the way for some reason. that rig is so awsome! i dont know if i would do that with a bump though, they are too precious to gill with mud.

Sorry, I can't say anything bad about a GM 14-bolt (as long as its an early 10.5" 14-bolt).
