Hello All,
Being trying to do some research with no luck. Unfortunately my friend recently crashed his 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS reg cab. He is in need of money and I would like to help him if anything from his truck will fit in my 72' ford truck. Can anything be used? And I mean ANYTHING?
TIA
Can anything be used from 2001 Chevy in my 72 ford?!!

BTW- his frame is bent and front fenders, bumper, and a cracked radiator. Everything else is in great shape. WIll the motor, spindles, lug and brake conversion fit? Again, anything at all?

Maybe a few light bulbs if you are talking about a bolt in swap. The seat might work with drilling a few holes. The tires if they are the right size which I doubt with everything going to 16-18" rims.
Hope your friend is OK.

Seats, Stereo, speakers, tires? probably more, but I would never go as far as to say running gear or anything like that.

May your sails stay full, and your knots not slip. Unless a slip knot.

You could part it out on Craigslist or ebay and use the money to buy Ford parts. If the motor runs and you can sell it as complete including wiring, I'll bet sombody will buy it for their off-road project.

If you have the time and space, parting it out is the way to go. Make sure you price check parts before you sell them, though. You could be throwing money away because you price it to low, or hanging on to stuff for ever because it's priced to high.
