No, I worked at the Gulf on Hillsboro Road (at 15-501) and Forest Hills Exxon.

A buddy of mine owned the Gulf on 9th Street for a while back in the late 70's.

Good evening 70_F100,

While I think all of the moderators have been exceptionally well-chosen, I have to admit that when I saw that new moderators would be elected, you were the first person that came to mind!!!

Significant parts of #50 were built based on the time you've spent guiding me though things in a step-by-step way. You have an uncommon patience and kindness. Knowing you, it doesn't surprise me that you'd be willing to accept the moderator responsibility and contribute to FORDification in an expanded capacity. We're all lucky to have you in this position!!!

Thanks, Robroy.

Though you declined, I'm sure your guidance and experience will be referenced frequently.

By the way, what's the story on the T-19????

That's great news!

Congratulations on your selection. I think it's very cool to have plenty of moderators to spread the load, and share their wealth of knowledge. And your posts have always been fun and informative.
Great choice for this site! :woohoo:
