Yeah, I do have to admit I have had to tow the Jeep out, but I've done it the other way as well. Like fomocoguy said, I've had the Jeep on some trails I would not want my highboys on, for they would surely get some serious body mods by the end of the day.

I think the whole "Jeep" thing is like a lot of marque "things". People get so caught up in their brand that they automatically assume that since it is a jeep, chev, toyota, or whatever, that is automatically the best at everything. I know a dude that thinks any chev will beat any ford. So like a stock chevette drag racing a boss stang, and he's actually ignorant/stupid enough to say yes. Point is, every automaker made some great stuff and some junk. I really try to distance myself from people like that. So, I think I may understand the "Jeep" thing, but I think it is kinda dumb.

Anyhow, I would also take great pleasure towing out anyone with that mindset. Great pics by the way.

Absolutely. :yt: Acknowledging that is the mark of a maturity that few people achieve. At the same time, it's fun to bust the ball$ of friends with Chevies, Jeeps, or imports. It loses its fun when people stop laughing and take themselves or their vehicle brand too seriously. And any vehicle can get stuck/break down with a bozo behind the wheel.

I've owned several 232's and 258's in cars which had this problem. If you hit a puddle big enough to splash the side of the engine, a few miles later you were dead in the water (pun intended) because of condensation under the cap. Back then I always kept extra McD's napkins in the glove box to dry it out.
