well ive been working on a framing job on the beach in madison,ct for about 3 1/2 months now and my good friend Dave was the framing contractor i worked for,well this past sat.night after we got home from work he had a blood clot from an injured foot break loose and went right to his brain and his fiancee found him on the couch, blue with no pulse and thier 3 year old daughter playing on the floor next to him....the wake is today and funeral tommorrow,god i hate these things...i guess im still kinda in shock as evry time my phone rings in the morning i still expect to here him say" wake up its 5 am".....well i guess god had plans for this one,maybe he needs some remodeling done cause dave was the best carpenter i ever met...well at least he is with his dad and german shepard again..........he was only 49 years old so please remember if you get hurt no matter how minor it seems if it doesnt go away ,right away SEE A Dr....!sorry but i had to vent..............................................

Lost my little brother at 41 on March 5th to melanoma cancer. I feel your pain...hang in there...still trying to understand it all myself...

Wake up call is a good way to put it...he was only 4 years older than me...haven't had a drink since his funeral...hard thing to do for me but ill be better sober....

I know I m late at a responce but sorry hear bout ur friend and his family. I lost my 3week old daughter 3years ago on 3-3.2008 and I'm still trying to make sense bout it.it don't go away but with time it gets easier
