hey as i see it, i'd be more pissed if i paid 25k for a newer (95-2005 or even newer) Car or truck and then had to dump 5-k in a trans plus the excise/usage tax and PPT on the daqrn thing first 5-10 years it's about what you paid new/new used.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

I'd much rather put $700 into a $500 vehicle than buy a $1200 vehicle or a $2000 vehicle and then discover it needs...*you guessed it*...$700 of work!

Well I can say is do it. My bump was bought off the 1st owner back in 95 for $2000 by my dad still had stock 302 and stock c4 with 130,000 miles on it he drove it tell 2001 when it rolled over to 200,000 miles motor still running was pulled out with the c4 and a built 390/c6 was put in rear end rebuilt and I got it off of my dad when I was 16 which was 2006 and I did a tune up and paint and tell yesterday I had no problems and then the starter went out $44 for a new one so motor transmission, rear end rebuild, tune up and paint all comes out to $3500 and that's 16 years of hard work we have put her through she pulls everything chevys honda jeeps and even newer fords lol best thing to ever put money in to is a bump
