Has anyone else heard of these stories? They were published in monthly popular mechanics magazines....these storys are incredible, the great automotive detective!! I thought i'd post for all to enjoy.

Yes , I remember Gus and The Model Garage. stories. In fact I still enjoy reading them in my collection of old PM magazines. Over the years more than once Gus " helped "me figure out a solution to a problem. Will

I can't say I remember the article but sure read a bunch of them today. Pretty interesting reading. Saw a few things I really didn't agree with but nothing really glaringly wrong. A bit like TV. You see something that is wrong and say something about it and your wife says "it IS TV you know"
