hydraulic dump bed for my f750

Post by dolinick »

I am thinking about getting this bed for my F750. It may be a bit too long though.

Looks to be in good shape. Measure the distance from your cab to the rear spring hagers on your truck. What is left over is how much overhang of the bed you would have. Most beds are designed to work with in a few inches of your rear springs( ie the hinges on the bed should be close to the rear spring hangers). You can always cut the bed down to fit. We did that with dads truck. It was a 12 foot and we cut it down to about 9 to fit the short wheel base truck. Might be a little harder on the grain type bed if it has a wood floor but still do able. Hope that helps some.

Several different styles of hoists out there. 1940's hydraulics are probably much different than what we have today, parts will likely be a problem.
