12.5 mpg

Post by thorn1968 »

So I calculated how far I've driven over the past several weeks, my speedo doesn't work, and it looks like I'm getting about 12.5mpg in mostly city/rural driving. Does that sound about right for a 360 and an auto? Oh, and I only had the parking brake on for part of that!

I have a 70 with a 390 and auto. That is about what I get under normal driving.

Sounds about right. I have a 68 with 390, A/T. I get 10 - 12 depends on the way I drive. I have a Bump for the love of it, not for MPG.

Thanks for all the responses. I think I'm running 3.25 gears and 30x9.50 all terrains, if that helps. :D
