Hey guys I need help finding shop manuals!

Post by Project Rustoleum »

I have a 1948 Ford F-1 truck here. I need to see if there is any places to but shop manuals for it. Chilton's and Haynes don't have them, and I have found an original Ford book that looks good on Ebay, but was just wondering what other sources I have out there. If you could help me out I would really appreciate it.

Mac's Antique Auto Parts.com I just ordered one for my '49 Mercury M155 3 ton. They have a good selection of parts and books.

No worries. I have bought from these folks before and the fit of the parts are perfect. They are really good to deal with. I bought the entire front suspension for my '59 Edsel from them. We already had a shop manual here from when Dad bought the car new so all the instalation and torque values were there. When the car was finished and had to get a safety inspection, the mechanics couldn't believe how tight and perfect the parts were. The only thing they didn't have at the time was the windshield washer fluid bag and the rubber bushings for the rear leaf springs. They now have those parts there and they also have a sale on part orders over $200 till April 15/2011. When I get this '67 Mercury Ranger home I suppose I will be making a parts order for these vehicles.
