Spotted this today...

Post by 71fordkid »

Looks to be a 1967 F250. It was sittin under the tree that has been cut down. I have no idea about the condition, but it looks to have been sitting there a LONG time. I stopped by today and knocked on the door, but no answer. I'll try again tomorrow, and might even leave a note.

Actually looks pretty solid for a truck that appears to have been sitting as long as that one. Be careful knocking on doors though, around here (well not so much around my area but once you get out further into the country where houses are a few miles apart) if you were to drive by real slow checking out a truck in someone's yard and knock on the door you're probably going to be greeted at the door with a 12 gauge , that is why I think twice before knocking on any doors about cool old cars sitting outside :2cents:.

71FordKid,

I noticed that you live in the Portland area, so do I. I have only had good response when asking people about their old trucks that are sitting around. I think they feel good that someone might want the old truck, even if they don't want to sell it.

Good Luck!
