what is this?

i have seen two fo these now. all in our trucks. what are these things do they have seomthing to do with new points tune ups kits they are selling? i have always found them with points and condensor nearby. its hollow all the way through the center.

thats for the chrome open element filters so you can still hook up your pvc. some have one for each side and some have a slew of sizes for your possable need.

One just like it came with my chrome Edelbrock open face breather. Had a knockout in the bottom piece. Used it for the PCV on the oil cap.
