Was drooling yesterday over a bump (literally)

Post by basketcase0302 »

Was in the bucket working on some lights and in pulls one of the most beautiful 71' F series I'd ever laid eyes on/ dark blue (my favorite color) on his way to the show in Pigeon Forge to sell it. :( I talked to the guy for a minute (put in a plug for Fordification as usual). He said it had a 351W in it. This truck was showroom trophy winning shape and he "squawked" the tires when he grabbed 2nd gear when pulling away! Wish i coulda' stopped long enough to grab the camera... :hw:

I hear ya. There is one around here that is soo perfect. Then there is the restored 56 up the street. I can't count the times I wished I'd have had my camera.

Jeff,

Your "word pictures" were more than convincing that it was a perfect Bump. Coming from a fellow member is enough for me.

Sounds like it was pretty nice. Thanks for sharing.

Now, next time, don't forget the damn camera... scheesh!

That's comin' from a guy that's NEVER posted ONE SINGLE PICTURE here... talk about scheesh...

Truck sounds nice - but why is he going so early? Pigeon Forge is a month away

Yep, you were right on the money. I didn't know about this one, (I have a relative there that was stuck in the traffic yesterday). I wouldn't mind being stuck in that kind of traffic.
