dentist

Post by fordman »

i had a loose tooth. so i went to get it looked at. the tooth was good. but my upper jaw bone where the tooth sets. was rusted  away. so the dentist pulled the tooth out. . then i didnt want to look like a toothless beggar so he shaved the tooth down. and used some wire epoxied to the back of the old tooth. and then expoxied it back into place. using the two teeth on each side as attachment points for the epoxy stuff. it worked out pretty good so far. i'm just glad it never has hurt me. well yet anyway. the numbness is almost completely gone now. and i can eat dinner with no problems.

Owww, glad it is working out. I have some dental work starting Monday. 2 crowns, and a couple fillings. One of the teeth that needs a crown is towards the back so I may have it pulled. Pulled $90. Crown $950. At least with my dental plan I only have to pay 1/2.

I went to my dentist and he asked what's the problem?

Me: My teeth seem to be turning yellow!

Dentist: Well at your age, maybe you should just wear a brown tie!

Sounds like you had a better experience than Bill Cosby did.

You could have had Tim Conway for a dentist.

Manny years ago when I was still installing carpet I had a job in an office building where the concrete was so hard I had to use my hammer drill to nail the tack strip down. I was drilling away when a lady came in and asked me how much longer I was going to drill. I asked her why? she said I was over their dental office and my hammer drilling was driving the people in the waiting room crazy.
