anyone know of any good junkyards in the northwest ar, or southwest mo area?

this summer i plan on doing the front drum/disk swap, manual steering to power steering, and need a bed floor or a decent rust and dent free bed.

Haha yeah. the bed i have only has a few small dents, but the floor is trashed. i was told it was used to haul wood for the last 20 years.

i see you survived the Arkansas rain storms. you guys get any bad flooding?

Nopt sure if he is selling, or even a junk yard versus Private collector, but on the way into berryville. i wanna say either in Eureka springs or Gateway, on the north side of 62 vissab;e from the highway is a hill with a lot of old metal on the side of it including about 10 bumps, and a few dents. this was back in 06 though. so maybe he moved, crushed or got forced to cleean up his yard/hill.

i know of one in miami,ok that might still carry the bumps and dents. if he is still in bussiness and has anything after that big flood in 07 or 08. i remember going in and getting something ass soon as the flood had resided. Dans' auto recycling, at that point you could still go in and fecth your own parts. he even had an old rambler and a few other classic cars in there. bumps and dents are scattered about last time i was there.

and if you had a way to hual it off he'd even sell whole trucks and cars, i think he keeps the titles in good standing for most of his stuff and only reports destroyed when he crushes but foriegn jobs and newer stuff gets crushed first.

There's a guy that I work with here in Cassville that has one in his yard. 72 I think. I'm not sure if belongs to him, but he let me get some stuff off of it. If you are in this area, stop by. Les Jacobs Ford, parts department.

It was still there the last time I drove through there about a month ago or so. It's just north of Pea Ridge on the north side of highway 62. It's always on a weekend that I drive by, so the gate has always been locked. There's a big sign there that says "Don't even think about it" so I've never gotten a closer look than from the road. I don't recall seeing anything that was parted out...everything looks complete, but I haven't gotten that close.
