Re: '67 F100 stepside - full resto project storyboard
yes it does - so you'll know my pain ! - why they don't make inner cab corners - I just don't know - if the outers have gone you know the inners have gone too
It seems like this job will never finish - as fast as I think i an nearing the end - I find another bunch of rust.
I decided to this properly and am sanding and blasting every bit of rust off the inside and outside - these '67's are worth saving.
But don't think I don't think - "why didn't I just bomb it with rustoleum"
keep up the good work on yours - I follow your steps with interest too !

Re: '67 F100 stepside - full resto project storyboard
tried lots of different ways to support the frame for painting - my old old back is no good on the ground
came up with this - don't laugh - it will work and I will be able to walk

Re: '67 F100 stepside - full resto project storyboard
finally some new stuff instead of repairing
got the king pins replaced (metal) and built a dolly for the cab - and finished the welding on the cab - needs some minor body work - but onto the front suspension rebuild next weekend - hopefully - you know how "honey-do" lists can get in the way !
