Got to drive a few laps around talladega!

Post by Nate's69F100 »

Hey guys, this past weekend talladega super speedway held a fundraiser to provide money to the victems of the april tornadoes that tore through alabama. I live in north alabama and thankfully had no damage. For a $50 donation to the American Red Cross, you got to drive your own vehicle around the track at Talladega. It was a blast to say the least! Especially with me being only 18!

Sorry but I dont know how to make it play in this window. Skip ahead to the 3 min mark, thats when it gets good

jealous jealous jealous.

I would have had a hard time not giving that white car some BUMP n run.... at least done some BUMP drafting.
good show

That would be a good idea for the tracks to do, for any kind of fundraiser. it'd be the fastest $50 I ever tore out of my wallet

You dont know how bad i wanted to! But it was an elderly couple so i used my better judgement.
It was so much fun that after we got off the track, we turned right around and did it again. :D
I hope they start doing this more often

i was gonna say 2000 was as close as i'd have called it. Had an offer from a friend to buy his '03 for 6500, but did not have that or the means to get it.

i imagine turning was harder on your street car than it is for the stock cars wich get the suspension and steering tuned for left turns.
