That truck is absolutely beautiful, and like everyone else here, I also think the lettering just adds to the truck!! Please tell us you did not take it off... It just goes with the color and chrome and makes that truck that much more beautiful. I know you told them you would, but you have the truck now and are in a different state. There shouldnt be any problem with you keeping it on there, and I highly doubt they would ever know or even give it a second thought.
And now seeing this truck, I am rethinking my plans with mine (was going to lower it a bit as its a 2wd). I have the slot mag wheels and am currently selling them, but absolutely love them on our trucks and your truck just makes them look soooooooo good!! Now I am thinking about keeping my truck stock and using my slot mags. What size tires are you running on your truck? I am assuming those are 16.5 wheels as you dont see those wheels in 16 very often. Are those tires 33 or 35?
