Bumpside on craigslist.

Post by greenhiboy »

Hey all!

I just saw a craigslist ad http://harrisonburg.craigslist.org/pts/2399551000.html for a 71 F250 going to the crusher. He's located in Verona, VA. Anybody nearby that needs a truck or parts? Anybody?

Man, if gas wasn't so high it would make a nice road trip for the grill bits.

He might be in an area where unregistered vehicles can only sit for a very short time. I know of one truck towing outfits that don't even have off street parking let alone a storage lot. They buy and resell vehicles in a matter of hours. They can get away with a day or two at the most then resold or scrapped it has to go.

I called this morning and talked with the owner, Hes willing to sell parts off the truck if anybody needs anything off it. Im buying the fenders, He says the doors are in real good condition if anyones needing some and could hold onto the truck a little longer if needed for someone that wants to buy parts off it.. Said hes got a 70 that he drive all the time and I told him about the site and the parts for sale section so maybe he'll join and part out the truck.
