better than a hole in the head. and a nice walk

Post by fordman »

today i was looking under the rear of one of my bump pickup bed trailers. i had some ladders on top of it. i stood up in the wrong place and a put ahole in my head. the sound of the screw that was sticking out of the wood ladder was the most crunching sound i ever heard and still makes me sick to think about that sound. so now i have ahole in my head. with lots of blood in my hair. it sounded something similar to when swarzenegger was pulling that tracking device out of his nose in total recall. i ran around for about an hour with a cold wet rag on my head until the bleeding stopped and clotted up. i am afraid to wash my hair. it may make it bleed again.

then tonight my subaru which we just got running again ran out of transmission fluid. and the car started kind of locking up . like a bad wheel bearing. i told my wife to pull over. and i checked things out. it was low on transmission fluid. the car wouldnt move even after i put half a quart fo fluid in it. so we walked back home downthe highway and all the way into town 4.0 miles. we went back with another quart of fluid and drove the car back home. it took us 1 hour and 15 minutes to walk that distance. i got home about 2:30 this morning.

Sorry to hear about your misfortunes. Make sure you clean that wound real good and get some type of anti microbial/anti bacterial agent on it. Maybe some betadyne or something. You definitely don't want to get it infected. Man when it rains it pours.

Thank goodness you didn't get hurt any worse. It is good news that the car still runs and the tranny didn't get ruined. Hope you and your wife have a good day.

Man, you can't seem to catch a break...

Much as I hate doctors, I'd probably go see one for a hole in the head...

Hope things start looking up soon...!
