trying to use your truck key to unlock your house

I have been noticing lately that when I try to unlock my house door. I have been trying to use my bump key to unlock my door. Does this ever happen to you guys when try to unlock your house door?

All the time.
Ex Ford diesel dealership senior master tech (6 years)
Current bmw level 4 tech.
1972 Ford F100 Stepside - 302, forged TRW flat tops, performer 289 intake, edelbrock 600 cfm carb, CV IFS swap, 4.10 LSD disc 8.8 , AOD 4 speed auto. Currently 5 years in the making.

Every once in a while i even try and use my bump key to start my girlfriends 2010 Scion tC.

No, because I always just leave my bump key in the bump ignition. ;) In fact all three of my bumps have the keys in the ignition. I just throw the key to my nova on the passenger floor board though.

Nope, the house key doesn't look, or feel anything like my 68's key. Of course I do walk out to get in a vehicle and have to go back into the house to get the keys. All the time. :lol:

I usually leave the back door to my house unlocked. I gave one of my children my key a long time ago. My back yard is fenced and I have three dogs that are either in the backyard or the house through a dog door.
