trying to use your truck key to unlock your house

I have been noticing lately that when I try to unlock my house door. I have been trying to use my bump key to unlock my door. Does this ever happen to you guys when try to unlock your house door?

Every once in a while i even try and use my bump key to start my girlfriends 2010 Scion tC.

No, because I always just leave my bump key in the bump ignition. In fact all three of my bumps have the keys in the ignition. I just throw the key to my nova on the passenger floor board though.

Nope, the house key doesn't look, or feel anything like my 68's key. Of course I do walk out to get in a vehicle and have to go back into the house to get the keys. All the time.

I usually leave the back door to my house unlocked. I gave one of my children my key a long time ago. My back yard is fenced and I have three dogs that are either in the backyard or the house through a dog door.
