Thats only one truck. If you want to see them monthly just subscribe to a couple of truck magazines and youll see plenty of those. Thats partly why I didnt renew my subscription.

yea but this one truck is also a local truck for me.

At this level I bet he had spent less if he had put a Ford in there. No need for a Crapmarow subframe.

I hate to play the devil's advocate, but...

The Chevy 350/TH350 combo is a very tried and true package, as I am sure you all well know. Bang for buck, it's really hard to beat a 350 with four-bolt mains. I guess it depends on which is more important; winning races or staying brand loyal. I am not saying that a comparable Ford engine can't be had, but it would cost more and I doubt it would be as reliable at that level of tune.

You could call it "herd mentality." I think of it as utilizing every possible advantage that you have available. There's a reason why so many go that route.

Me personally? If I wanted a Chevy engine, I'd have bought a Chevy truck to put it in. Then again, If I wanted to go drag racing I wouldn't take a pick-up.
