Mowing the Lawn

Sure did work. My dad was a truck driver and when I screwed up mom would tell him next time he called in. He might be 7 days getting home so I had seven days waiting for the punishment. I just HOPED he had forgotten about it by the time he got home.
He rarely did though. Mom would whip me and Dad would think about what stupid thing I did for seven days and really whip me when he got home. I didn't get into very much trouble though. I wonder why? A lot of kinds growing up these days could use a good old spanking once in a while instead of a bunch of time outs. I was lucky with my kids. I can't remember ever spanking either one more than maybe once when they were very young. Do it once right and you usually don't have to again or at least very little
