did anyone know

Post by fordman »

i was checking out blue oval parts and the floor pans they have listed will fit truck 65-79. so if anyone looks for used floor boards you can also look for good floors in those years. i don't have any good ones in my parts truck. but its nice to know that i can expand my search if i were to need any.

That is awesome. I was wondering when my buddy gave me a carpet out of a 79 f150, And it fit my 72.

the 65-66 trucks have the same floor pans as 67-79 BUT not all F350 and F250 4x4s got 65 cabs in 65 and even into 66.

make sure your 65-66 actually has the later cab

yes, some of the big trucks were still using the old cabs and the old rounded inner fenderwells.

Yeah if you have one of the cabs with the battery in the floorboards of a 65-66, you still have the older style cab, but the fastest way is to see if it's got steps inside the doors of the cab. The older style cab had them , newer one didn't.
