So did anything come of those intense looking clouds? That's a nice pic.

Mr Brutus we will take yours also. Our rivers and streams are at a record low for 100 yrs. of record keeping. We have a lot of rual home owners wells that have gone dry. Its strange how it works, dry as a bone here and floods in the middle and north of the country.

I posted pics of some clouds like that a while back when there was an artistic/intersting photo thread going. I don't remember the exact name of the clouds, but they usually proceed thunder storms.

I don't doubt that. We've had a lot of evil looking stuff floating over this last week. Even half a dozen little funnels starting from the clouds but nothing touched down in the area that I know of.

Hey Stroker! I feel your pain! We've gotten a couple of thunderstorms up here in N. Ga. but they only lasted a few minutes then the heat came back in full force. It'd come roaring in a dump a deluge on us with high winds and lots of thunder and lightning....for about 20 minutes. Then it's gone. Happened about 3 times in the past 2 months. Comes out of Alabama and points west mostly but I see it skips Atlanta and S. Ga on it's way up. Sorry, man. If we get another one I'll tell it to head your way.

If I had been visiting Kansas and saw them clouds that 460 of mine would have been firewalled!
We could use a little of that rain you guys are trying to get rid here in NC also. Been calling for Thunderstorms the last 3 days here. I can look out over the corn field behind my house and watch the storm head my way and then turn and go around. Have been watering my small garden for the last month. Glad nothing bad dropped out of them clouds onto you Fordman.

Another gully washer today. Clear skies until around 4pm then like a hurricane. Left work in Alpharetta about 4:45 and headed home, about 45 mins. 25 mins into the drive it was gone. Tried to tell it to go south Stroker but it just wouldn't listen.

Thanks so much, we just had one of those type of storms go about 5 or 10 miles south of of here which is about 25 south of the house. Well keep trying though.
