Anybody ever used these guys for parts?

Post by happycamper »

I don't like to advocate for anyone on my favorite site, but I started getting parts for my bump from rockauto.com
Got a new speedo cable for $9.80 and an entire steering rebuild, (drag link, center link, tie rod and adjuster) for $157. Sure beats the hell out of oriely, autozone, or LMC. Shipping took 2 days.

Don't hand your hard earned bucks over to just anyone.

Nope, But thanks for the heads up

Nothing wrong with saving some coin, In fact I made a run to Desert Valley Parts and wasted most of the day
just looking at the inventory (they had my list pulled in 10min) and never made it out of the bump section 8)

I've bought a few things from them with good experience. Mostly I use their catalog for research. It's the easiest to use of all the parts sites, IMHO. It's the only place you can scan before and after a couple of years without having to back all the way out. Sometimes will give you casting numbers and OEM part numbers, depending on what you're looking for.

Bought a few things from them. Prices were right and shipping was fast. Got the right parts. I recommend them.

I really like them and have much success using them. Recently I needed a new radiator for the highboy. I got one from the for $165 shipped when every place else was $350+. They seem to have the hook up on great parts at a great price.
