Re: CL find
Heck, I'd buy it but it seems like it'd be a bit hairy without outriggers.

Re: CL find
just need a chainsaw. mayeb it doesnt swivel and is just astraight up and down only. so they didnt see a need for outriggers. but outriggers are the way to go with something like that. if it doesnt swivel it is kind of worthless to cut down multipule limbs.

Re: CL find
YOu could make money changing bulbs in parking lot lights also. The out rigger thing is true also. When I was in the Air Force I did runway lighting but also changed the bulbs in the street lights. If the bucket truck a line truck were busy we used the runway truck which had a 30ft wood ladder on a swivel. The swivel would lock but if that ladder was all the way up that little 78 Dodge D300 or whatever Dodge had for a 3/4 ton sure would do some swaying. It would put your stomach in your throat if you were not sued to it. If it was very windy and we had to change out the whole fixture or do something that would take some time we had a jack and some block and would block the bed of the truck up just enough to help with the swaying so there are some things you can do to help

Re: CL find
I've bucket trucks with short sections of chain welded to the rear spring retainer plates and the other end bolted to the frame. I was told it does help when the bucket is swung over the side.
