I'm sorry if I offended you. I'm actually guilty myself. I was a teenager when I got my first car, a '65 Chevy Impala Super Sport with a 327 and "4 on the floor". A previous owner had made modifications to the engine for racing. There was no posted speed limit in Montana at the time. The law said "reasonable and prudent". I was on a straight section of highway where I could see for miles and there was no other traffic but there's no way what I did could be considered "reasonable and prudent".

Didn't bother me at all. I just added that so that people knew I wasn't doing it on a highway or someplace stupid. No worries.
