Looks like you scored a real cream puff there. Very nice. My dad had a 76 E150 van back in the day, cool van but the thing I remembered about it when I saw your steering wheel with the cruise control buttons on it is his had the same control on the wheel. His button cover strip was black but the buttons were the same. SO if I read right where you will need some buttons don't over look the vans. A lot of parts interchange and the years they interchange get a little screwy also

Great find Keith! I have always had a sweet-spot for the Dent Supercabs, and the only one I see around here has that same paint scheme 8). Looks like a very clean, solid truck, bet it will be a fun 500 mile trip back home in the newly acquired beast.

Way cool...take plenty of cash for gas on the return trip. Looks just my Dad's (RIP) 75 supercab. Might check the TSBs though...Dad's truck was recalled for a problem with the auto column shift slipping out of Park and into D or Reverse randomly. Just about took me out once...put it in Park, opened the door, got a foot on the ground and it went into R...scary business. Be safe with it.

I'm gettin' excited! :hd: We're taking off to Wisconsin first thing tomorrow morning. It's definitely going to be an interesting drive. My wife works the overnight shift, so I'll be packing up the Suburban tonight. Then as soon as she gets home in the morning, we'll be loading up and heading out for the 9-10 hour drive. So she's gonna have to try to sleep on the way there...with four kids, ages 3-8! I'm fully anticipating her to be a bit on the....um....well...the 'short-tempered' side. :P

We normally have a 45-minute time limit for the two older boys to play with their Nintendo DSIs per day, but I think I'll make an exception on that rule tomorrow, just for the sake of everyone's sanity.

(I can't decide whether it's more appropriate to wear my FORDification t-shirt for the ride home in the new truck, or my Sammy Hagar "I Can't Drive 55" concert shirt!) 8)

Keith, that is awesome! Good luck with all aspects of the drive.

I like the way your new truck looks in your signature image!

Have you picked out a name for it yet? And is it a he or a she?

Have a great trip, pack lots of tools (since it is a dentside) and I guess this is going to give you a good reason to get some more decals made up right?

Nice Score - you know i really like these trucks and the great value they represent....the only think I hate - which is a matter of taste i guess is the dash - in particular those square dials. - don't know what it is - but they would have to go for me.

Anyways - i really like those - do you know what weight that would tow ?
thanks

:pop: Hey Keith, ya got me! I tried to kill that bug crawling at the end of your signature. Just noticed it and reached up to thump it. Then felt like an idiot. LOL. Good one! Did you make it back without incident?
