'70 Sport Custom Rebuild- She's been adopted!
Well, I've got enough progress done to warrant starting a thread now so here goes. In 2004 I traded a 1994 Honda Accord with 260K miles on it for my 1970 F100 Sport Custom 2wd LWB. Original 302 with 200K miles, 3.03 tranny, column shift, 3.25 rear end gears. Guy wanted $1500 for it and I swapped even for the Honda. I think I got the better end of the deal Here's how she looks before I started...

Scheduled 4 weeks vacation off this year to devote to her. Of course I'll be putting in more hours on the weekends and piddle after work but some of the big jobs I wanted a whole week to devote to it. 1st week off was in February and I devoted it to building my basement workshop so I would have a place to work on the small stuff. Took another week off and started disassembly in April 2011. Began by making this to put my bed on and later, after I move the bed around back, to put my frame on after disassembly to make it more portable for cleaning and painting.

Also built this to put the cab on. Then spent the rest of that week, and into the weekend taking her apart. First removed the front clip just to warm up.

Then came the bed. Started by taking all the bolts and wiring loose and blocking it up on 4x4 blocks. Then hooked up the engine hoist.. Lifted and positioned the cart ..

Set it down and pushed out into the driveway...and with the help of stepson's wheeled it around behind the house, unloaded it and propped it under the back deck.

Removed seat, steering column, doors, gas tank and disconnected any wiring and hoses that may be attached. Removed mounting bolts and hooked up the engine hoist to lift the cab.

And set it on the frame dolly while I disassemble the frame. I then disassembled the front and rear suspension while I had it sitting on jack stands. After I had the frame disassembled, and ready for cleaning, I put the cab on the cab dolly and the frame on the frame dolly. Then I removed everything off of the frame in preparation for sandblasting.

Actually only got the front clip, bed, engine and tranny pulled in April. Spent the next couple of months pulling the suspensions and cab, swapping everything to their appropriate dollies and removing everything from the frame. Also got the frame degreased and pressure washed. Next vacation scheduled was July. Borrowed a portable sandblasting rig from a friend. Here's the frame before blasting.

WOW! You're really going to town on that project! 
Only thing I might suggest is that you get under the back deck and reposition the bed so that the top is against that house, rather than the bottom. That way when it rains water won't pool in the side/bottom seam of the bed. You might want to put a tarp on it as well.

Good point flyboy. 'appreciate the tip. I bought a couple of tarps to keep my frame covered up after blasting and before painting. Was wondering what to do with 'em, now I know!
