remember though 67-69 the ranger used the sports custom trim.


but i had an f100 longbed ranger xlt. wich they used the widest trim with woodgrain for the trim.

My parts truck was a 1969 longbed ranger f100 with a 390 and a c6.
Ex Ford diesel dealership senior master tech (6 years)
Current bmw level 4 tech.
1972 Ford F100 Stepside - 302, forged TRW flat tops, performer 289 intake, edelbrock 600 cfm carb, CV IFS swap, 4.10 LSD disc 8.8 , AOD 4 speed auto. Currently 5 years in the making.

Got a 1968 F-100 Ranger and a 1972 F-250 Ranger XLT. Both longbeds.

Our grandfathers was a 69 long stepside, Ima try and find a picture. My brother took it off and is putting a new bed on it cause the original was far beyond repair. I personally would kill to have a long stepside, bagged out....

ranger was an option package before it was a model designation. i wonder if he means long bed ranger optioned trucks. bucket seats, console, etc.

I have a '72 parts truck that is a long bed Ranger. Not much left of her tho.

'68 F100 Ranger longbed. I *think* it may be a Ranger XLT, but can't remember. I know for sure it was a Ranger.
