I like the original look myself, especially with the red stripe in the grill. But if you're gonna need them a lot I'd say put 'em on.

If your truck is lifted like it looks. I'd say mount them. I personally think they wouldn't look good on a average height truck. Just my opinion.

Looks good to me. Is that a Coronet R/T parked next to the truck?

Personally I like the stock look, So Nay

With that said, if a night run is in order I'd forget about looks especially in the back country

Yes. For a 4WD, I like 'em. If it were me, I'd try to fabricate brackets that can be mounted using the top bumper bolts so you wouldn't have to drill holes in it but that's just my :2cents:

Those look pretty thin, I'd try to mount them behind the grill, you would be surprised how well they will still work. I do think they look ok on 4x4's.

I would mount them behind the grille as well. You won't lose anything as far as light output goes and you can keep more of the original look.
:2cents:

This is what a set of Hella FF200's look like behind the grille of my '70 when I bought it. I have since removed them (and the Rallye 1000 Black Magic's) and replaced them with a smaller set of driving lights.

I am very partial to Hella's, though... Been working for them for 3½ years now...

Ill look into putting them behind the grill, seeing how my DD Ram has a pair of hella 500's that i use every night an look great in the grill. A pair of Hella Black Magic lights would look good to an the black would keep in yourface look to a min.

Are the lights going to be primarily for looks or are they going to be practical? I'm a fan of the stock look but if you'll get use out of them with backroad or off road driving then I'd say put them on.
